Wheelchair, bicycle needed

As of September 7, 2019 we have two new donation requests from other refugee sponsors in Kingston:

First, Wheel Chair (Extra-large size): We are looking for a wheel chair for a newly arrived Lady who arrived on August 29th to Kingston. She is in real need to have this wheel-chair to be able to move around.

Second, an Adult Male Bike:  We have a new Refugee person who arrived recently. He is looking to have a bike to help him move more easily and freely within Kingston.

To donate contact Tarek Elmaghraby at tareke@keys.ca

Many thanks in advance for your continuous and generous support.

Thank you to Youth Buskers!

Not so Amateur Amateurs, led by Christine Harvey, delighted spectators with a busking showcase featuring dance, batons, hoop work, gymnastics, and juggling. They took this opportunity to raise funds for IFRP – almost $400. Thank you to a fun, talented and generous group and their director Christine Harvey.

2015-03-21 16.39.20Kingston, Ontario: A number of area churches have been meeting since January to decide how we might all work together to help with the worldwide refugee crisis.

March 21,2015 representatives from some of those churches met once again to finally announce the “Inter-church Refugee Partnership” a group of churches working together in a refugee support, resettlement, and advocacy project, which will include sponsoring an extended Syrian family at risk.

Canadian Lutheran World Relief has agreed to work with our ecumenical group and to be our Sponsorship Agreement Holder with the Canadian government.
